TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms") govern all services provided by [Cordent Organic]("Company," "we," "our," or "us") to any client, customer, property owner, tenant, or authorized representative ("Client," "you," or "your"). By scheduling, approving, or allowing services to be performed, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

The Company provides specialty cleaning, restoration, and remediation services, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Mold remediation and treatment

  • Odor removal and neutralization

  • Organic and environmentally responsible remediation services

  • Surface restoration for wood, siding, roofing, decks, crawl spaces, attics, basements, mobile homes, RVs, and related structures

  • Other services as agreed to in writing

All services are non-structural in nature unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement.

 

2. PRODUCTS AND METHODS

The Company utilizes specialty remediation products and low-pressure application systems designed to clean, treat, and restore surfaces without unnecessary damage. Our methods are designed to be low-odor, non-toxic, biodegradable, and environmentally responsible when used as directed.

While our products and systems are highly effective, no remediation method can guarantee permanent or total elimination of contaminants, including but not limited to mold, mildew, or odors. Environmental conditions, moisture intrusion, ventilation, and future exposure may impact results.

The Company does not paint, encapsulate, or structurally alter surfaces unless expressly agreed to in writing.

 

3. OCCUPANCY AND ACCESS

In many cases, occupants may remain on-site during services due to the low-odor and non-toxic nature of our products. However:

  • Certain projects may require temporary relocation or restricted access

  • Occupants are typically required to remain at least 100 feet away from active treatment areas

  • Exposure to treated areas may cause temporary eye, skin, or respiratory irritation

The Company will communicate any access or occupancy requirements prior to beginning work. Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in service delays or termination without refund.

4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding the property and conditions

  • Ensure safe, legal, and unobstructed access to all work areas

  • Remove or protect personal property, valuables, and sensitive materials

  • Disclose known hazards, including moisture issues, structural damage, asbestos, lead-based paint, or prior contamination

The Company is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, or conditions beyond our control.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Full or partial payment may be required prior to service

  • All invoices are due as stated on the invoice

  • Late payments may be subject to fees, interest, or collection costs

  • The Client is responsible for all costs incurred, including materials, labor, and applicable taxes

The Company does not work with, bill, or negotiate with insurance providers. Any insurance reimbursement is the sole responsibility of the Client.

6. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made within the timeframe specified at booking

  • Late cancellations may result in fees

  • The Company reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances​

 

7. RESULTS AND LIMITATIONS

The Client acknowledges that:

  • Results may vary depending on environmental conditions

  • No guarantee is made that remediation will prevent future contamination

  • Moisture control and maintenance are the responsibility of the Client

The Company does not warrant or guarantee that treated areas will remain free from mold, odors, or contaminants.

 

8. NO PROFESSIONAL OR MEDICAL ADVICE

The Company does not provide medical, health, environmental testing, engineering, or legal advice. Clients concerned about health effects or indoor air quality should consult qualified professionals.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages

  • The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service performed

  • The Company is not responsible for loss of use, loss of income, or property value​

 

10. INDEMNIFICATION

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Inaccurate information provided by the Client

  • Failure to follow safety instructions

  • Conditions beyond the Company’s control​

 

11. PROPERTY CONDITION AND DAMAGE

The Company uses non-destructive methods; however, due to the nature of remediation work, minor cosmetic changes may occur. The Company is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Pre-existing deterioration

  • Hidden defects

  • Prior treatments or coatings​

 

12. TERMINATION OF SERVICES

The Company reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if:

  • Unsafe conditions exist

  • Non-payment occurs

  • Client interference prevents proper completion of work

Payment remains due for services rendered up to termination.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the services are performed, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

​

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Client and the Company and supersede all prior discussions or agreements. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by the Company.

16. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By authorizing services, making payment, or allowing work to proceed, the Client acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
